The input power for the Foot Controller is provided by the COLORstrip™ product being
used. The included 6-pin DIN cable provides both power and signal between the
controller and the product.
Power
To determine the COLORStrip’s power requirements (circuit breaker, power outlet, and
wiring), use the current value listed on the label affixed to the product’s back panel, or
refer to the product’s specifications chart. The listed current rating indicates the
product’s average current draw under normal conditions.
Always connect the COLORstrip™ to a protected circuit (circuit breaker or fuse).
Make sure the product has an appropriate electrical ground to avoid the risk of
electrocution or fire.
Never connect the product to a rheostat (variable resistor) or dimmer circuit, even

Before mounting the product, read and follow the safety recommendations indicated in
the Safety Notes.

Function
This button allows the user to cycle through the stand-alone programs
in the COLORstrip™ product. You can click the button once for each of
the programs to cycle through slowly, or hold down the button to cycle
through the programs faster. For a detailed description of the programs
built into the unit, download the COLORstrip™ or COLORstrip™ Mini
User Manual. To stop the auto programs from running once Scene <1>
has been pressed, use the Blackout <4> function.
<1>
Scene
This button allows users to select the run speed (mode P.) and/or flash
speed (mode F.) of the selected program. If both speeds are available
in a given mode, both will change at the same rate unless the product
is set to custom starting values (see the COLORstrip™ User Manual
for program details). The Speed <2> button may be clicked once to
slowly cycle through individual speeds, or held down to increase
speed. The speed can be adjusted from 000~100, with two separate
corresponding values, which are dependent upon the program being
accessed (see table below).
<2>

This button allows users to quickly place the COLORstrip™ unit into
Sound-Active mode. To exit the sound function, use the Scene <1>
button to select the program you wish to activate, or Blackout the
product.
<3>
Function
This button disables all output from the unit. If the button is clicked with
the unit already in Blackout <4> mode, it will immediately resume the
last running program.
